Biography
I come from a place where prickly pears, the scent of myrtle, sea salt and helichrysum rule over everything. I picked up a pencil before I could even spell my own full name correctly.
Being self-taught is the lens through which you should read everything I do.
Over the years, a voracious overindulgence in the works of the great international masters, the positive influence of emerging, street and local artists — almost entirely unknown — and the constant stimulus of everything around me pushed me toward an urge that became impossible to ignore: to tell my own story and the story of the world through my own personal vision. At times naif, at others sharp, dreamy and bitter at once, playful or mischievous depending on the moment and the context. No transcendental pretensions.
I think that's all you need to know about me. If it resonates, if you like it — enjoy it.
“My work is a light attempt to capture a fleeting fragment of life — the intensity of an ironic smile, the weight of an apparently empty gaze, the unquantifiable beauty of imperfection. To play with art and see what comes out of it. If you're reading this biography you already belong to a curious minority — and you're automatically invited to be part of this game.”
